3 March 2026 - "Alan Turing - Guildford's Best Kept Secret", a talk by Paul Backhouse

Our latest poster

We are a group of amateur historians with a range of interests in the history of the local area and further afield. We meet twice a month during the main part of the year at St Mary the Virgin Church,  Shalford, with occasional meetings at other venues. During the summer months, we hold outdoor meetings with activities including walks and visits. Our members sometimes give short talks on a subject of their choosing in our members’ mornings.

Full details are in our programme.
